Camellia japonica 'Great Eastern' is an Australian bred variety with attractive crimson flowers has been in cultivation since the 1870’s, producing rose-red flowers, medium to large, semi double with irregular petals. This japonica camellia produces masses flowers from late autumn to early winter. It has a bushy growth habit. Camellia number 2.
