Zelcova serrata 'Ogon'
Zelkova
Zelcova serrata 'Ogon', common name Golden Japanese zelcova, is a compact shade tree with a vase-shaped habit, interesting peeling bark and yellow-gold foliage that matures to green in summer. It has gold foliage with hints of green which emerges yellow in spring. The small serrated pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn gold in autumn. Grows to 12 m. Our tree was planted in May 2017 by Mrs Eileen Derrick to honour her grandfather and father, Moss nursery managers William and George Gould. See our Gould history page for details here.
